Inspiration
So there I was, making list upon list upon list for the IA's construction, planning everything to the slightest detail, making sketches of layouts and writing pages of content. As I was planning, I thought of the greats, something I always find myself doing when building a site. I searched the recesses of my memory to Diversity, PixiMyst, Petz Dreamz, and all of the newer sites that seem to be popping up like Daisies from "hiatuses" or "breaks." All of them gorgeous, all of them unique. And then I tried to think of what could set the IA apart, something every good site owner does.





The Subsites
As I thought, I came up with a few ideas: a pasture for exotic adoptions, a secret garden as a trading post, a burlesque site for causes, and a birdcage for a win-a-something. As these ideas were born, I realized that it would mean I would have to tripple the workload, now and in the future for maintenance, but I didn't care these ideas were too glorious to refuse, and thus, the subsites were born.
